How to get here!

Traveling 25 km East from the town of Athabasca on highway 55, turn left on the Alberta pacific Forest Industries mill road (Range Road 194A) Travel 18 km North on Range Road 194A to Township Road 681, turn right and travel East 2 km to Katherine’s Camping Corner.

What to do while here;

Hop on your ATV and head out to Poachers Landing for a day of Quading or load up your dirt bike and head over to the local designated dirt bike trails. Pack up the family and a picnic lunch and spend the day boating on one of the many nearby lakes. Or relax and enjoy a round of golf on one of the golf courses in the area.

Night skies and Northern Lights are breathtaking in this country setting. Lay back and stargaze.

Don’t forget to do a little shopping at the Athabasca/Boyle Farmers Market, stock up on fresh veggies to grill on your BBQ or on one of our fire pits.

If your visiting us during the Winter season, don’t leave your Snowmobile at home. Load it up and enjoy the many trails our area has to offer. Check out the Athabasca River Runners web site. Enjoy some cross-country skiing. Or check out the rinks in the Athabasca-Boyle area.

For those staying with us for work, bring your log truck or big rig home with you at the end of the day. We have plenty of parking for your large truck, log truck or any big rig. Parking area is hard packed gravel, well lite, with plug ins. Need to bring a C-Can for storage, no problem you will have the space.
Laundry and shower facilities coming for the 2017 season.

We welcome all RVers. Whether you need a weekend getaway or for those that want to set up your RV here full time, set up a deck and use your spot as a go to for the Summer or on your days off. Call for Seasonal pricing.

Plenty of things to do and places to visit.​
Beautiful Whatshan Lake is only a 5 minute drive from our property, it has a public beach and boat launch, if you have a boat. Rainbow trout reaching weights of 1.5 kg (3.3 lb) as well as bull trout of up to 4.5 kg (10 lb) are resident in the lake. Kokanee are small but plentiful.
Arrow Lake is a 5 minute drive and has Large Gerrard Rainbow Trout and are resident in this lake where fishing is best in the fall month
Snowshoe Lake is a 10 minute drive, has both rainbow and brook trout and are abundant, weigh up to 2 kg (4.4 lb).
Fauquier Golf Course is 7 k/m east. Needles/Fauquier ferry will get you accros the Arrow Lake in about 7 minutes.
During winter months snowmobiling and snowshoeing is right out back. Skiing, heli-skiing and snowboarding are in the surrounding area.
Hunting is great out here, so if that's an interest, Deer, Elk, and Partrage are plentiful in the area. We also have a small shooting range out back.
20 minutes away is Edgewood, a small, friendly rural community where many of the people make a living working in the local agriculture and forestry industries found in the Inonoaklin Valley and the rest of the Lower Arrow Lakes region. The pace is a little slower with the residents adapting a real laid-back lifestyle. For local services there are the Edgewood General Store with a gas station, Canada Post Office, Branch 203 Royal Canadian Legion, Vantage One Credit Union and the Edgewood Health Centre.
