This is 720 acres of land that, except for some cows, you will have to yourself.
You pick where on your acreage you want to camp. There's beautiful bluffs or some low-lying areas. Only the last 2 miles are not paved. But you're 30 miles from Walmart or any fast food. It will be your own paradise for as long as you want.
There is no power. There is no water. From the bluff you'll get Internet ... depending on your service provider. But this is a wonderful way to see what the homesteaders' experienced when they settled in the late 1800s'.
Most of this land has never been tilled and is largely undisturbed. You can hike. You can explore. There's typically water running through Preacher's Run, but not always. You can ride four wheelers and or practice your aim with target practice.
This site will give you the biggest sky, the darkest nights and the brightest stars you may ever see.
If you want, we'd gladly take you for a farm tour to see the cows, the horses, sheep, ducks, chickens, llamas ... and whatever else my nieces may have found to befriend. In fact, that would likely be the highlight of my dad's week.
It's not cheap, but neither was the land as we built it though the generations.
The site will be yours to do with as you please. And while I am biased, it's simple and fantastic.
