We have a small microfarm (you may hear some pigs or chickens during your stay) with an extra woodlot for camping. The site is private (cant be seen from house or road) and wooded ... morewith a dirt driveway in and separate, private access from the road.

There are hiking trails at the back of the property reachable from the site. There is a large campfire area with tables and chairs, and plenty of free wood stacked for use.

The West Canada Creek, with Class A trout fishing, is less than a minute down the road with kayak drop in farther up (we have kayaks and tubes for rent for a nominal fee).

BlueWater BaseCamp is the future site of a luxury tiny cabin resort. For now we are offering RV sites in the future parking lot. The neighborhood is quiet and away from the hustle & bustle of the campground down the road. BlueWater BaseCamp is about 3 miles from the lake itself. Parking at the lake costs $5. Twin Peaks Treats is the ice cream/coffee shop about 3/4 mile down the road (towards the lake). E-Bikes are available to rent at Twin Peaks Treats. Mtn bikes & kayaks are available to rent at the lake. Most of the trails start at the lake. POW/MIA trailhead is back ELR at power pole #185 about 1.5 miles before BlueWater Driveway.

Campsite is on a relatively level paved driveway. Power (15 amp and 30 amp) and water is available.
WIFI is available up near our house (please ask for password).
This is a Longleaf Pine sanctuary and a hobby farm with livestock (Donkey, Pony, two Goats, two Ducks and a flock of Chickens.
We also host an AirBnB, so other guests may be here as well.
We prefer to host only one or two campers at a time, but if you are traveling as a small group, we will be happy to accommodate all of you if we can.

Park your RV on our working regenerative farm, located at the base of the Bankhead National Forest. From your campsite you may see our herd of South Poll cattle, two herds of Kiko ... moregoats, as well as poultry and livestock guardian dogs. There is a large pond within view as well, and lots of wildlife in the forested part of the property just behind the RV site.
